Behind every great band is a great bass player. The low-pitched sound of the bass is integral to all styles of music, including rock, pop, and jazz (just to name a few). Students of bass can expect to learn proper fingering, site-reading, slapping and popping, music theory, and much more.
MCML offers lessons to bass learners of all skill levels. MCML students are paired with music professionals who best fit their needs, and who will develop specially tailored lessons for their learners’ unique interests and goals. We offer online bass lessons (electric or upright) to students ages seven and up. If you are a parent of a young learner, please connect with us first to discuss the different types of basses available for children since little hands often require special instruments.
